The Flex XC 3401 VRG 6 inch Backing Plate is an authentic factory replacement for the original backing plate included with your FLEX XC 3401 VRG Polisher. The plate is designed specifically for this polisher, and creates the forced rotation that sets the FLEX apart from other dual action buffers. The Flex XC 3401 VRG 6 inch Backing Plate is made of durable molded plastic with a urethane pad to dampen vibration and heat. Hook and loop fasteners cover the bottom of the plate from edge to edge. The backing plate is 6 inches in diameter. We recommend 6.5 inch pads or 7.5 inch pads.
